Jennifer Holcomb received her certification from the Legal Secretary/Assistant Program at Renton Technical College in June of 1984, and worked in her field for many years before joining the firm in 2000 as a pre-litigation paralegal. Jennifer became office administrator in 2002, and added bookkeeper to her long list of duties in 2003. Client service is very important to Jennifer, and she does all she can to see each and every case through to resolution.

Connie Kyes-Grenley

Connie Kyes-Grenley has 40 years of experience in the legal field. Connie is a registered legal assistant and certified to present ex-parte matters in King, Pierce and Snohomish County Courts. Working in the field of personal injury litigation for more than 30 years, she has developed a strong compassion for our clients. She brings her very best each day to all her cases, striving to present the facts compellingly to gain the best possible results for our clients.

Denise Cottom

Litigation Paralegal

Denise Cottom has been part of our firm since 2002 as a litigation paralegal with more than 30 years of experience. She received her legal assistant certificate from Renton Technical College in 1981 and is a member of the King County Bar Association Legal Assistant Committee. Denise is certified to present ex-parte matters in Court, and works very hard to ensure that clients have superior care and representation.

Terry Asbert has over 25 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, primarily in the area of medical malpractice and personal injury. She also has experience working in environmental law, insurance defense, and class action litigation. She is passionate about her work and helping clients achieve justice when they have been wronged or injured.

Heather Thweatt

Heather Thweatt joined our firm in 2021 with 29 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury cases. Heather has deep empathy and compassion for our clients, who appreciate her ability to foster open communication with them. Heather enjoys working as part of Swanson Gardner Meyers Cohon PLLC’s litigation team, working to achieve the best possible case results for our clients.

Mary Rua

Mary has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession, primarily focusing on personal injury and medical negligence. She also has significant experience in automotive tort litigation and class action claims. She takes pride in her fierce commitment to her clients and their pursuit of justice.

Sarah Chambers

Legal Assistant

Sarah Chambers joined the firm in 2000 as a part time file clerk, and became full time legal assistant in 2009. Sarah works closely with litigation paralegals on case projects and assists in trial preparation. Sarah graduated from White River High School in 2002 as Salutatorian with honors.
